Our Experience

  • 1923 Greci company is established. Under the direction of Geremia Greci, it starts its own business in processing tomato concentrate.
  • 1966 Giuseppe Greci and his sons Gilberto and Giorgio (the current owners) change the company name and establish Greci Industria Alimentare which is among the first companies in Italy to produce tomato pulp.
  • 1973 -1998 The Company chooses to expand and specialize their production. The Prontofresco brand is born, which signs the line of Speciality products for food service. At the end of the 1990s it becomes the favourite brand of Italian restaurant and catering managers.
  • 2003 The first foreign commercial Branch is opened in Paris: GRECI FRANCE, for direct sales and distribution to the French food service sector.
  • 2004 The requirements of the food service industry evolve and drive the company to an important innovation: the line Freschi di Cucina is born, ready-to-eat, refrigerated products.
  • 2007 A state-of-the–art plant for processing fresh fish products is opened in Spain, in Antequera (Malaga): CADELMAR Gastronomia Mediterranea s.a.u., the new entrepreneurial challenge of Greci’s family.
  • 2010 Greci enters the retail world with the brand Chef per Me: high-quality modern gastronomic solutions. Selezione Chef is born: the finest cuts of Aberdeen Scotch Beef PGI and Chianina (Tuscan Beef ).
